Atwoli says referendum will bring peace and inclusivity

Cotu Secretary-General Francis Atwoli has said referendum is inevitable if Kenya has to achieve peace and inclusivity.

Mr. Atwoli while speaking on Sunday at a fundraiser in Machakos county said, "We will change the Constitution so that we have peace in the country.

We do not want this Constitution where whoever wins takes it all. We want inclusivity."

Mr Atwoli condemned those against constitution amendment adding that they are not keen to see the March 9 handshake between Mr. Uhuru and Mr. Odinga succeed.

He also added that those looting public funds must be prosecuted and the money recovered invested in projects that promote growth.
