Shock as Kasarani Stadium fills up 3hrs to Kenya Vs Ethiopia game

Kasarani Stadium has filled up three hours before kick off time of the clash between Kenya and Ethiopia.

This is a result of the decision by Cabinet Secretary of sports Rashid Echesa to have free entry for the match.

As expected, this has sparked a lot of reactions on social media platforms.

One Twitter user by the name StillDigoz said,"The game is at 4pm but guys are already getting into the stadium this early. There's a thin line between patriotism and idleness."

Another user by the name Asmali77 said, "Wow. It is more than 3 hours before the 4PM kickoff ..and Kasarani Stadium is fully packed."

"Current situation at Kasarani, making it free was a wrong move," added

"It's so Ironic that I live in Kasarani and I might miss the match. ... right now people are already in the stadium," cess_vee said .

Harambee Stars will face Ethiopia for the second time in four days in a bid to qualify for the Afcon 2019 championships which will be held in Cameroon.

Kenya was last in the Championship in 2004.

They are currently leading in Group F table with four points.

The stars, who are captained by Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama need to only win the 4PM match to earn a ticket to Cameroon for Afcon 2019.

If you don't make it to Kasarani, don't worry. Look for a live-stream on this website.

All the best Harambee Stars!
