CS Achesa declares free entry for Kenya vs Ethiopia clash
The Cabinet Secretary of sports Rashid Echesa has on Thursday announced free entry for the clash between Kenya and Ethiopia slated for Sunday.
Ethiopia's Walya Antelopes will face Harambee Stars at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in a bid to qualify for the Afcon 2019 championships which will be held in Cameroon.
Kenya currently tops group F table with four point after containing Ethiopia 0-0 at their home ground in Bahir Dar on Wednesday.
“Harambee Stars has continued to perform well in the Afcon matches where Kenya has beaten Ghana and drawn with Ethiopia,
in this respect, the government has stepped up support for the team to ensure that Kenya qualifies for Afcon 2019 championships,” CS Rashid said in a statement.
“I wish to announce that entrance to the stadium at Kasarani will be free of charge to allow Kenyans cheer their team to victory,” he added.
Harambee star last qualified for the championships in 2004.
