Fascinating details about Kenyatta International Conference Centre, colloquially known as the KICC have emerged.
The architect of the building, Mr David Mutiso who was the first African architect has said that its design was inspired by a donkey penis.
The 28 floor tower was commissioned by Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the 1st President of the Republic of Kenya, in 1967 and its construction was completed in 1973.
The opening ceremony occurred in September 1973 and it was presided over by President Jomo.
