Obado to have four more tough days in cell ahead of Friday ruling
Governor Okoth Obado and two other suspects have been granted four more days in police custody ahead of their bail hearing on Friday, High Court has ruled.
Their murder cases have also been joined.
They are accused of the cruel murder of Sharon Otieno and her unborn child in September at Kondera forest.
Governor Obado together with his aide Michael Juma Oyamo and county assembly clerk Casper Obiero pleaded not guilty in the murder of Rongo University student, Sharon and her unborn kid.
The Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya and Ms Otieno's parents have filed an appeal seeking to have the suspects held in police cells until the trial is heard and determined.
