Mudavadi tells church to reject money from corrupt politicians

ANC party leader Hon Mudavadi on Saturday rebuked church leaders for welcoming money acquired through corruption in harambees.

He said that church should start following what the word of God says instead of going against the Biblical values by receiving money whose sources are questionable.

“We have seen people looting public funds and bringing billions of Shillings to church during fund raising, yet the church cannot question where the money is coming from, we have become accomplice to stolen goods,” the NASA Principal said said.

Speaking in Trans Nzoia county during a home coming of Matisi ward MCA Obed Mwale, Mr. Mudavadi called on the President Uhuru to deliver on his promise to deal with cartels who are destroying Agricultural sector.

“We saw the President making a very solid statement concerning the plight of farmers, he even swore in the name of God,
that’s exactly the kind of statements we are expecting from our leaders,” he added.

In his company was Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula who when his chance to speak came he said,

“No one should be worried about our unity, we both have one agenda for this country, we shall give you people direction come 2022.”
