Pressure among Pogba and Manchester United chief Jose Mourinho proceed to rise and now Jose has told the central midfielder that he will never captain the club again while he stays in control, reports on Tuesday indicated.
Mourinho informed Pogba before his team mates on Tuesday asserting that the 25-year-old "doesn't speak to what a capatin is and Manchester United is greater than anybody", The Times reports.
"Mourinho's message to the United squad, delivered at Carrington today, was designed to underline his authority and remind the players that he is in charge," added The Times report.
The French World Cup champ's most recent remarks condemning Mourinho's excessively defensive strategies after a 1-1 draw at home to recently advanced Wolves on Saturday have incited a response from Mourinho.
"We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves. We are here to attack," Pogba told the media after the match.
